Mike's love of food is rooted in cultural tradition. Growing up in an Italian family, his love for food was cultivated at a young age.
Mike attended Culinary School at S.A.I.T., a premier Culinary Arts program. He graduated Valedictorian, and won the Benjamin Towers Memorial Award.
From there he began to sharpen his skills while studying under top level masters, including CCC Chef Matt Batey and Master Chef Michael Allemeier, and Chef Alana Peckham.
In 2014 Mike would take his first Head Chef position at a trendy Main Street cocktail bar in Vancouver BC - the Cascade Room - after which he embarked on a new endeavor as Executive Chef at the prestigious Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. Here, he fell in love with all the Sunshine Coast had to offer.
